The prefectural capital is Shizuoka.

Shizuoka Prefecture is divided into three areas of an eastern part, the central part, and a western part. And it is blessed with the nature of Mt. Fuji, a tenryu river, a fuji river, a hamana lake, etc.
Shizuoka Prefecture is agriculture and a fishing is famous for green tea, a mandarin orange, a tuna, a bonito, and a spotted shrimp. The tea of Shizuoka produces about 42% of the whole country. And the livestock products of chicken, an egg, milk, and pork are also produced.
