The prefectural capital is Tokushima.

The tourist resort in Tokushima Prefecture is popular. Especially Naruto Whirlpools and a hot spring are famous. Moreover, the outdoor sports which employed nature efficiently are also popular.
The festival of Tokushima Prefecture calls it an awa dance. This has 400 years of history and an awa dance will be performed in August. And about 1,300,000 persons gather from Japanese each area.
