77% of Wakayama Prefecture is a forest. The area measures about 3637 square meters. And many artificial plantations of the Japan cedar and the cypress are planted.
Wakayama Prefecture is surrounded by the about 65-km coastline. Therefore, a fishing is very prosperous.
